Psychotherapy

Positive Psychology
Depth Psychology
Transpersonal Psychology

* Traditional Psychology is based on the premise that something is wrong with you and needs fixing. Positive psychology is based on the fact that something is already good in you, and needs unveiling. It focuses on strengths, resilience, gratitude, meaning, and wellbeing.

* Depth psychology is the study of the unconscious — the hidden layers of the psyche that drive behavior, emotion, and pattern beneath our awareness. Founded by Carl Jung and rooted in Freud's early work, it explores the shadow self, archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious — the idea that we share a deeper layer of psyche beyond our personal experience.

* Transpersonal Psychology goes beyond traditional therapy by exploring the full spectrum of human experience — including the spiritual, the mystical, and the deeply transformative. Where conventional psychology focuses on healing the wounded self, transpersonal psychology asks a bigger question: who are you beyond your story? It integrates evidence-based therapeutic tools with a recognition that we are more than our diagnoses, our traumas, and our thoughts. It is psychology that honors the soul.

Testimonials

Virginia is my spirit guide. She is highly skilled, professional, personable, and truly individualizes each session to my whatever my needs are that week. I've been seeing her for a few months now and she always exceeds my expectations.

Rachel

I've been seeing Virginia for my anxiety and she has helped me "do the work" to not only manage it but to learn where it is stemming from. If you are looking for a therapist who will participate in each session and not just stare at you and shake their head, I highly recommend her.
