🌙 This week: March 15–21
This week, the sky is serving up a powerful mix of introspection, restlessness, revelation, and renewal — with a new moon at the end of the astrological year, and the equinox at the beginning of the new astrological year.
The week opens on March 15 with Mercury and Mars meeting in the dreamy waters of Pisces, igniting a rare kind of mental energy — one that doesn't seek logical answers, but mystical ones. This is a perfect moment to sit with the big questions... Don't force the answers, stay open — because this transit has a way of dropping epiphanies into your mind. Journal, meditate, walk in nature. The insights may surprise you. There's just one catch: you may feel a strong urge to do something with all this energy, to act, to make something happen — but the direction isn't clear yet. That restlessness is real, but it's not a green light. Sit with it a little longer. Better to listen than to speak... avoid conflict.
By March 16 - 17, the energy shifts into something more restless and uncertain. Venus in Aries brushes up against Uranus in Taurus, and you may find yourself craving something different — a new experience, a new look, a new feeling — without being able to name it. Then, as the Moon in Pisces meets Mercury — a quiet inner knowing of what direction you need to go. But like every hero's journey, you may feel reluctant to answer the call. The road ahead looks uncertain. This is where trust comes in.
March 18 brings the New Moon at 28° Pisces — a deeply potent lunation and one of the most imaginative of the year. New Moons are always invitations for new beginnings, but this one, at the final degrees of the final sign of the zodiac, carries the energy of completion and possibility at once. This isn't fantasy — it's expansion. And perfect timing: as the Moon, and then the Sun, move into Aries over the next couple of days, those possibilities start gaining traction.
March 20 delivers a double ignition — the Sun enters Aries, marking the Spring Equinox and the astrological new year, and Mercury stations direct after its retrograde in Pisces.
The Spring Equinox is one of only two days in the entire year when day and night are perfectly equal. Twelve hours of light, twelve hours of dark. In that brief cosmic moment, everything is in balance — yin and yang, masculine and feminine, action and rest, the seen and the unseen. It is the universe itself modeling equilibrium for us. Every tradition on Earth has honored this moment in some way, because on some level, humans have always felt it: a pause, a breath, a threshold between what was and what is coming. In a week filled with rushing Aries energy and the impulse to charge forward, the Equinox is a quiet reminder that before the sprint, there is stillness. Before the new beginning, there is a moment of perfect balance. Honor it. Step outside. Feel the equal weight of dark and light on your skin. Let that balance live in you for a moment — because once Aries season is fully underway, the pace picks up fast, and these still points become rare.
But this Aries ingress chart deserves special attention, because it offers clues about the energy of the next three months. Look at what's gathered in Aries: the Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, the Moon, and Chiron — all in the same sign, and all of that fire ruled by Mars, which is currently swimming through Pisces. This is the energy of moving at great speed with no idea where we're heading. So before you act, pause. Visualize where you want to end up. Think about how you want to get there, or what actually needs to happen to reach your goal. The impulsive energy around you is real — but you don't have to give in to it. Things will go much smoother when intention leads the way.
The week closes on a beautiful note on March 21, as Mars in Pisces forms a harmonious trine with Jupiter in Cancer, bringing clarity, and guided momentum. After all the rushing and uncertainty earlier in the week, this transit feels like finally exhaling. You'll feel like you're in the right place at the right time — because you are. Whatever you've been waiting to start, whatever you've been holding back on: when the moment feels aligned, that's your green light.
