HYPNOSIS & REGRESSION
Hypnosis is a practice involving heightened focus and concentration, reduced peripheral awareness, and an enhanced capacity to respond to desired suggestions, to help people relax, diminish pain, or to facilitate some desired behavioral change. Altered state theories see hypnosis as an altered state of mind or trance, marked by a level of awareness different from the ordinary state of consciousness, operating mostly in Alfa brain waves, a state in between waking life and sleep. The use of hypnotism for therapeutic purposes is referred to as hypnotherapy.
Regression therapy is dedicated to uncovering past events that may be contributing to a current mental state or harmful habits. Regression is a technique that uses hypnosis to recover lost memories from the past, whenever that past occurred, in order to resolve current conflicts, fears, and blockages, as to affect change and behaviors.
